Use a bleach-water mixture 1:1 to wash off existing mold and then paint with water based Kilz. If this is for your bathroom make sure your finish coat of paint is in a semi-gloss so that you can clean the surface easier in the future.Is there any paint or anything else that can get rid of mold permanently or at least help control it?
There is something you can add to paint to help with mildew build up..We bought some at Lowe's.I forget the name.Just ask in the paint section.
