How long do you have to be on yaz birth control for it to start being affective?
With most pill-form birth controls you are protected on the 7th day after starting the pill pack.

As for me, been on the pill two years and I only just STARTED getting my period on the pill. Sometimes you may even get spotting mid-month (this happens to me often) just be sure to tell your doctor all about it and if he says it's fine (which I am sure it is ) it'll be fine.

Because it is a rental unit you should check with your landlord. You are not authorized to have anyone do any major repairs to the unit without their approval. I have been in similiar situations and had to resort to keeping a window open. Hopefully your landlord will remedy the issue without any problems.

On 4 October 1940 another law created special interment camps for all foreign Jews in the Vichy zone, 40,000 Jews were interned in them by the end of 1940. For the moment they remained relatively unaffected. But this would not last. As early as August 1940 the German Embassy in Paris had begun urging the military authorities to remove all Jews from the occupied area. Action soon followed. Yes I have. Once my grandmother was killed in my dream and horrible, horrible things began to happen. Then I realized, hey, my grandmother is alive b/c I can hear her speaking on the phone! (i was sleeping in at the time and my grandmother was on the phone) So i created obscure machines that un-did the ';horrible things'; and my grandmother ';came back to life'; in my dream.

I use to have dreams that someone or something really scary was chasing me and all I had to do was remember I could fly and all would be well. And I always realised I could fly when I realised I was in a dream.
I could also change the content of my dream but not the pace. I once dreamt I was about to be crushed by a stampeding herd of zebras and elephants and I switched it into a horse race at the track with me as a spectator - so I was out of the way of the speeding horses and no longer in danger.

Doctors tend to tell me that i can get pregnant while taking antibiotics even if i am on birth control. They say it lessens the effects of the pill and I should use back up methods. I would just sustain from having sex while on the Antibiotics, till your system feels better and your no longer on them. Remeber all it takes is just once, Or you could use a condom, but those aren't 100% either. anti biotics are only taken from 3 or 5 or 7 days so you can wait that. These things are proven to make BCPs ineffective...
the antibiotic rifampin. Other antibiotics DO NOT make the pill less effective.
certain anti-fungals that are taken orally for yeast infections
certain anti-HIV protease inhibitors
certain anti-seizure medications
St. John's Wort

I am about 30 lbs. over weight and I tried weight watchers to lose weight, it worked but I didn't stick with it so I am back were I started. I don't exercise, I don't eat right, and ALMOST don't even care. Deep down I do though and wish I could have self control over food. You have to make a decision. Do you want to be healthy or not? Start with small steps and do it to be healthy, not so much to lose weight. I know it kind of sounds like it doesn't make sense. Cowlick driving me crazy! How to control it?
I have a cowlick right along my hairline in the front. It's off-center and increasingly exasperating. It ruins the whole look of my hairstlye. I have long blonde hair parted just a little to the right and no bangs. I like to wear it loose and straight but my cowlick ruins the symmetry and makes my face look unbalanced. Another way (already mentioned) is the hair spray way. Most of the time I use it to control the fly aways around the cowlick, it doesn't seem strong enough to get rid of the entire thing. I have been going to a Dr for about a year and a half and they have found no solution for me. I went through so many different procedures. I hear commercials that this problem can be gone within just a few visits? What gives??? Please only serious answers. I am going to the Dr. for a visit soon to discuss this and tell him I need to know if he can help or I need to seek another specialist.How long does it take to get incontinence under control? I would strongly urge you to go to a physician who specializes in this condition though. I am a nurse in this type of field and I have seen a lot of people both younger and older with this problem and they have verbalized to me, '; I wish I would have come here first';
Some times its a twist in medications that can help, other times physicians will recomend what we call biofeedback, its a type of retraining, other times surgicial interventions are the best bet!!!

I feel your pain. I have 2 neo mastiffs- the hair is enough to make me want to cry sometimes. Bathe and brush-bathe and brush. My older male LOVES to be vacumed. He follows me around the house till I vacume him. I have heard of these new ';vacume'; type cleaners for dogs-that somehow really get to the undercoat and my sister told me her neighbors dog (Shamus-the St. Bernard) looks like a different dog after being done. Now that's great if your dog is not afraid like my other one is. She see's the vacume and runs the other way. I got into the routine- EVERYDAY...sweep/vacume/just surrender to it. well what brush are you using? i have a labrador retrever and she sheds alot in the summer from all her winter coat and i found out that if you brush your dog with like a hair comb or like a flee comb it gets alot of the hair OFF your dog. yes she will still shed but when your dog goes to ich her side or something, if you brush her with a small toothed hair comb or like a flee comb it gets alot off her and less hair will come off her. see what happens is when you brush her with a dog brush that looks like a human hair brush, that just makes your dog looked...well....brushes, but when you brush her with one of the combs i said it will get the fur closest to her skin which help. she will just scrach off the hair she scraches off insted of the hair she scraches off AND the hair that just fell off with out ever coming off her

My boyfriend and I have came to the decision of getting off the pill.
If we get pregnant we'll be happy. If we don't, it's ok. Whatever happens now.
We're not really trying to get pregnant but we both really want a baby together we just know that you can't really plan for this.

Self-pleasing yourself is not bad. It is an intimate moment you experience by yourself. Don't be ashamed, God is not going to get mad. Now if decide to have sex with a girl, God is going to get really mad if you're not married yet!
it's natural and normal, it doesnt say in the bible anything about it being a sin to masterbate!, no you are not a bad person, your'e human!.
There is nothing that says God doesn't like masturbation, just remember to control yourself around girls and try to cut down on the lust. It'll help you a lot. It also actually prevents prostrate cancer so go on right ahead.

I just want to let you know that a lot of the advice given is for type 2 diabetes, and has virtually no relevance to type 1 management.
So if you are type one;
-ignore anything to do with type 2 diabetes, they are separate diseases,
-Check your BGL lots. its easy to forget but being aware is the easiest way to control it,
-learn the serves in all the foods you eat,
-learn about the disease, even many doctors don't know what is really going on, only listen to your specialist.
with these you can start learning and gradually changing, but always carry your insulin and glucometer with you, you have to make it a habit to always have them, at first don't worry too much about what you are eating, as long as you know the serves and take the insulin.
it needs to be part of eating,
at first I had no idea of the different serves, so all I ate was pasta until I learn the carbohydrate level of other foods.
Three things to remember and religiously follow if you have diabetes:
1. Diet
2. Exercise
3. Medication
Consult your doctor for the details of the three. Actually, it is very simple to follow this regimen of diet, exercise and medication.
By diet, you have to watch your food intake and follow the diet plan recommended by your dietitian or doctor. Exercise does not mean that you have to run many miles a day, but simply walking or yoga or philates would do. And medication is the most important especially if you are Type 1 because you need insulin everyday to control your blood sugar. For Type 11, you also need to monitor your sugar by taking oral pills.

How long after taking birth control does it take to get pregnant?
I have four months of birth control pills (ortho lo) left and afterwards I'm not taking them any more because my fiance and I want to try for a baby. My question is, how long does it take for the effects of birth control to wear off? I'm 23 and disease free but I always hear how long it takes to get pregnant. I was on depo provera for 3 1/2 years and it took me 2 years 5 months to get pregnant. With my mom, it took her 7 years to get pregnant after BC. Everyone is different though.
i was on the pill and startin gettin really bad headache from it, so i went off it the sunday and i got pregnant that friday. didnt take me long at all
It took me 1 year to get my oldest daughter but birth control wears off in 30-90 days depending on the type you were on.
