This is a health argument, not a religious one. If she is planning on having sex, perhaps it is for the best, but neither the sex nor the birth control are healthy for her at this age. Through self sexual exploration, a young woman's vagina begins to develop a native bacterial flora (the bacteria she carries in her skin all the time) that acts as protection against other move invasive bacteria and fungus. Sexual activity before this flora has fully developed can potentially lead to life long difficulties with infection. Her hormonal system is also in development at this time, and birth control reaks havoc with the hormones. One of my daughters tried it when she was 14, for ';acne';, and she quit after a few months because of it's negative affects. Her system was not developed enough to handle messing with what is already a delicate, and changing balance of hormones (changing from girlhood to womanhood -- the process takes years beyond puberty and the development of menstruation). Talk to your friend, and urge her to wait. There is no rush for sexuality, and she should know herself, and explore herself first before taking on this dificult stage (love and sex) in life. Won't hurt her. Besides being good sex protection it can also regulate periods and some can help clear skin. Just have her ask her doctor to recommend one for her.
If shes sexually active or going to be sexually active then yes she should, much better then having a baby at that age.
If the 14 year old is going to be sexually active it is a very good idea. I don't recommend having sex at that age however
nothing is wrong with that i took it at 13 for my cramps to be eased but if she is sexually active its a even better investment
Yeah not only is it good at preventing pregnancy it also regulates your cycle too..its always good to start early
well she is going to have sex then proably so no but atleast she is using percautions
