I had anger issues in the not too distant past and my solution was to gain some awareness of anger and what the root causes were in my life. I developed this awareness by reading books on the subject. By reading I gained a greater awareness of the messages I was telling my self that were triggering my anger. I also gained greater empathy for others and this dissipated my anger significantly. Books like 'Emotional Intelligence' by Daniel Goleman and 'A Guide To Rational Living' by Albert Ellis, among others.I have a very high temper, some tips to control it?
I recommend this one too: 'Nasty People' by Jay Carter. Its a short, 100 page book that gives essential information in understanding why one becomes an angry person. Good luck.

1. Unresolved Issues
2. A requested for Love
To settle unresolved issues you must do 2 things
1. Forgive yourself - This is big you must really let yourself off the hook for your mistakes
2. Forgive them- For they know not what they do you must really forgive them then you can forget it

You can try pulling over and taking a breath your not only indangering others but you it would be sad to loose someone so young, I went to a seat belt class and the lady was telling a story about how an angree driver is a dangerous bomb that has a short fuise.two girl decided to skip school for the day and tryed to go to the school and highjack a friend to drive them around all day and how cool it would be the boy they grabed was a good student very involved one the lunch break at school and 9 attempts to get the boy to take them were they wanted to go they could see he was clearly upset,and annoid but all climbed into the car and it took less then 10 minutes for him to kill all three of them, he speed through the school parking lot and down the street and was going 70 miles an hr in a 25 mile speed limit and hit and wraped his chevy nova around the telephone pole. Please try listening to some calming music drink less caffieen and when your angry don't drive, road rage is a jail term no one want's to have to do a streatch for
inhale through your nose and exhale from your mouth three times, this will help you calm down for the moment of the situation.
Unless you have some underlying condition, you are responsible for your own behavior. Go to anger management classes. If you have issues, see a counselor or therapist.
