When you first start birth control is it normal for your period to come early?

I just started using birth control a couple weeks ago. I got my period 9 days early. Before I started taking the pill about 2 days before I had unprotected sex and possibly could have gotten pregnant. Is it a possibility that this is implantation bleeding? or is my body just getting use to the pill and is it normal for my period to come this early?When you first start birth control is it normal for your period to come early?
Yes. I started early when I first began BC and it also lasted 2 1/2 weeks. The next month it was a normal 7-8 day withdrawal bleed that happened during my placebo pill week.When you first start birth control is it normal for your period to come early?
You had sex, so yes you could be pregnant, take a test to be sure. But most likely it's just your body adjusting to the hormones.
