honestly, ignore those thoughts. or for every negative thought think of two postive ones that prove it wrong. if you refuese to belive it then they'll go away. just keep thinking postive and fill your head with things that affirm your self worht not tear it down.I cant stop ruminating about being a failure.theres a voice telling me im a joke. how do control it?
Your thoughts leave impressions on the magnetic fields of earth so when you pass through the same magnetic fields you think of the thought that you previously thought of, (its how we remember where we put things) the reason you think about it alot in bed is because you keep going back to the same physical place/places. Try moving your bed to face at 45 degree angle to how you were sleeping before and put it on the other side of the room. Also this industrial society isn't natural for creatures like ourselves, we need to see the spiritual makeup of our surroundings. By the sounds of it your not in a place that you can do that. Go somewhere where you can find yourself! Im from Canada and it took me going to Australia for several months to find myself.
The best way to get things back in perspective is to talk to someone trustworthy who does have an accurate perspective. Unfortunately Yahoo Answers does not accomplish this because we do not know you well enough to be convincing authorities; however, talking to friends, parents, or counselors can help reinforce the truth about yourself and make you more confident in dismissing your negative voices.
I highly recommend counseling. While friends and parents are great, they may not always understand or say the right thing. Counselors and therapists know what it's like so they won't misunderstand. Good luck. :)
Are you creative? Always keep your hands busy with something constructive. Get a job, get involved with your local area and get creative! Buy some canvases and paint!
I used to get those thoughts all the time but I kept thinking, pfft I hate myself as it is so why am I listening to myself? Ignore it and tell the voice to get stuffed 'coz you don't care about it.
Try to keep yourself busy. If you absolutely can't- find good things about yourself. Remind yourself you're just being paranoid. You probably have a little bit of OCD. I have it a little and sometimes you can't get thoughts out of your head. It's hard, but it'll eventually go away. You're not crazy though. (:
go for counseling. i know someone who had a similar problem and that was the only thing that helped. if you need help on how to find a counselor or get one, post a new question asking that.
