The first month you start birth control is it going to be exactly ontime?

so i just started birth control due to my periods never ontime etc. ive been on it for a month and was supposed to get my period yesterday but it never came? does that mean something or will it just be late? The first month you start birth control is it going to be exactly ontime?
It can take up to 3 months for the hormones to regulate in your system. Your period may or may not come on the day it usually came without the pill. Time will tell. The first month you start birth control is it going to be exactly ontime?
No it doesn't mean it will be on time. You need to make sure you take the pill the same time every SINGLE day and never miss one. That will raise your chances of getting a regular period. As for me, been on the pill two years and I only just STARTED getting my period on the pill. ( I had a low body fat percentage and gained a little weight recently)...but now even getting my period it's not regular. Sometimes you may even get spotting mid-month (this happens to me often) just be sure to tell your doctor all about it and if he says it's fine (which I am sure it is ) it'll be fine.
birth control doesnt always regulate your period the first month, it might take a 2 or 3 months. ask your doctor or read the pamphlet that comes with it %26amp; see if u can get more info from that
