My cursor goes crazy and I can not control it with my mouse.?

Wires in the mice are breaking, time for a new mouse. If it has not gone out completly yet, it will.My cursor goes crazy and I can not control it with my mouse.?
Besides having a defective mouse, the only other possibility would be a virus. Do a complete scan of your system with whatever anti-virus software you have (if you can figure out how to do it with a keyboard), or use my favorite Avast! for virus removal. My cursor goes crazy and I can not control it with my mouse.?
make sure to run a virus/spyware scan

replace batteries in mouse if it's wireless
Use a blank white sheet of paper as a mouse pad.
get a new mouse. x
it might be the mouse. what kind of mouse do you have? i have an old notebook mouse that would freak out from time to time. i'd be playing a game (GTA3 at the time) and the ';camera'; would spin uncontrollably around the character. i'd bang the mouse around a bit and it would stop. lol. but i got a new mouse now.

possible causes could be damage in the mouse itself. conflicts within the programs. it may even be surface the mouse uses. my old desk was completely black. i had to invest in a lighter colored mousepad because i found out that the dark surface absorbed the light emitted from the mouse. if the light doesn't bounce back, the mouse can't track. i had a stealth desk surface lol.
if u have a optical mouse (light under it) then there is no problem with ur mouse the problem is only with the base of ur mouse.

move ur mouse on a surface :-

*having rough surface

*not a reflecting one

*it should be even plain

*prefer a diary or simply the com. table bare surface.

in d case ball mouse take out d ball wash IT WITH D DETERGENT USED TO WASH CLOTHS DRY IT PLUG IT BACK MOVE IT.
maybe its a ghost :-)......take the ball out of the mouse and clean it
if your on a lappy, try useing your mouse while its unplugged. and if that works call the maker and get a new plug
take the mouse away from the person sitting next to you
