it takes 2 weeks.its so your body gets used to the pill.How long after you start taking birth control is it effective?
hmm...i would say no...but thats my own opinion nothing really to back it up. i would think it needs to have time to build up in your system. Just b/c you are on the pill doesn't mean you wont get pregnant. If you aren't trying you def. need to take other methods as well..such as condoms.

It depends on the type of pill your taking. It's usually a week but it can take up to a month.
