Can conjoined twins feel the side of the body which belongs to the other twin. and can they control it?

And if there does the feeling suddenly cut out..or can they feel everything. does pain on one side hurt the other?

im really interested in this..not sick..i saw a programme the other week on two girls from America and its really interesting! Can conjoined twins feel the side of the body which belongs to the other twin. and can they control it?
I would say for the most part no .. it depends on nerves, and I'm pretty sure they don't share nerves anywhere but the shared area/organsCan conjoined twins feel the side of the body which belongs to the other twin. and can they control it?
The only way conjoined twins can feel each other's side of the body is if the nerve endings are connected to their brain via the spinal cord. All nerve pathways run through your spinal cord and need to do so in order for you to feel. Your brain interprets these signals when the nerve receptors are activated (usually due to touch, temperature, pressure) and causes you to in a sense 'feel'. The chances of them feeling the other's side is great because of the network of nerve cells. One nerve responds to another and to another like a domino effect until the signal reaches the brain. If for some reason the nerves in a certain part of their body were cut off from the rest of the network then only the person with the brain connected to that nerve will feel it. The chances of it 'cutting out' are extremely slim unless there is nerve or brain damage due to surgery, pressure, temperature, etc. Hope this helps.
Why don't you go ask one?
