How long after you got off birth control did it take before you got pregnant?

My boyfriend and I have came to the decision of getting off the pill.


If we get pregnant we'll be happy. If we don't, it's ok. Whatever happens now.


We're not really trying to get pregnant but we both really want a baby together we just know that you can't really plan for this.


So I was just wondering how high the chances of getting pregnant sooner happen right after leaving the pill. I've heard that it sometimes happens faster once a woman gets off birth control pills. What was your experience?

I was off and on birth control for a while. i still haven't gotten pregnant after a couple months of being off of it. but i don't think thats the reason why. it also depends on what birth control you were on. talk to your obgyn about it.

I stopped my last birth control patch the month of my wedding, and finished my period two days after the wedding. On my one month anniversary, the test was a big bright positive. I was on it for four months. God bless.
