How does yahoo determine when to empty my e-mail trash & can I control it?

Yahoo has complete control of the Trash folder---we have NO say about it.

Open your trash folder and across the top is this warning---';subject to deletion at any time, with no notice';.

The only thing you can do is to ';Move'; emails out of it, that you don't want deleted-----BUT---If you don't want them deleted--why do you put them there to start with. That's what ';personal'; folders are for---storage.

I don't think there's a set schedule for when they empty the trash. It's done randomly---which means--anytime they want to, or feel it's needed. How does yahoo determine when to empty my e-mail trash %26amp; can I control it?
The only way YOU can control it is to empty your trash folder BEFORE Yahoo does. This question has come up in the past. It USUALLY occurs after 24 hours, but there is no exact time. Best thing for you to do is to not put any messages in the trash folder that you might want at a later time...There is no storage limit of emails in Yahoo...If you don't delete them they should stay in the inbox.
